Day 2: Your Sacred Anger
Your Anger Is Holy
Welcome to Day 2, where we’ll dive into the incredible power of stomping as a tool for *processing anger*. Our bodies hold onto intense emotions like anger, and when they aren’t released, they build up, creating internal tension.
Today we honor anger - not as something to fear, but as sacred information.
The Neuroscience of Anger & Stomping
Your body knows:
• Anger activates your anterior cingulate cortex
• Stomping engages your motor cortex
• This combination helps process anger without overwhelm
• Movement literally "moves through" emotional energy
Astrology Insight: Mars and Saturn
While Saturn’s influence on bones provides structure and resilience, Anger, ruled by Mars, needs a channel. Stomping connects Mars’s need for release with Saturn’s ability to absorb and stabilize, creating a balance between impulse and grounding. Every stomp is a way of releasing Mars's energy while reinforcing Saturn’s structure.
Mars is associated with the mitochondria, which make adenosine triphosphate (ATP) the energy source for all cellular functions, including the muscle contractions you need to stomp! Mars rules the constellation Aries, and the stars in the Aries are the exact same shape as a molecule of ATP! 🤯

Today's Sacred Stomp
Same basic technique as yesterday, adding:
• Think of something that deserves your holy anger
• Feel your feet making contact with the ground
• Notice where you feel the anger in your body
• Allow the movement to meet that feeling
Remember:
• 2 minutes maximum
• You can modify as needed
• Your safety comes first
Why This Works:
• Bilateral movement helps process emotions
• Physical action completes stress cycles
• Rhythm creates predictability for your nervous system

Day 3: Explore grief - another emotion that lives in our bodies.
Holding space for your process

I strongly felt energy moving from my solar plexus, to my heart, to my throat (a lot here) and up to my third eye (so strong here I felt it in my anatomical eyes as well). My head started moving like it was dancing with the beat of my stomp. Anger has been moving through me heavily these last few weeks. So I’m not surprised this was an intense stomp for me.
